Adopted ID screening is coming to LONDON, ENGLAND!!!

I’m so happy to share that the London premiere for Adopted ID is happening THIS SATURDAY MAY 11th 2013! 2pm at BFI Southbank as part of the Images of Black Women Film Festival, a true honour to be included among some great films. The past couple of weeks leading up to the film have been tiring, exciting and nerve racking, will people be interested? Will they buy tickets? What till the response be like?

I’m very happy to announce that the film SOLD OUT!! a week BEFORE the screening, I’m humbled and really excited. We are hoping to get a bigger screen as I know many people who wanted tickets didn’t get them, so stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted.

I’m curious to see what the British public thinks of the film. We had such a positive and supportive response when we aired it in Toronto last July 2012 but it is our hometown so we had family and friends there to support us. That said I’ve lived in London for the past 7.5 years and Sonia the last 6 years on and off so I think that we’ll still get lots of love here.

We look forward to seeing many of you at the screening on Saturday

Blessings

J
